Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. Primary Feature
The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, though users may also choose their donation amount on the right side of the page.
